Archery Hunts
Ryan Hendrix and his 2007 P & Y Buck
If you're a serious bowhunter, you know there's a big difference between quality archery hunts and an archery hunt run as a sideline by a rifle outfitter. You simply don't hunt the same way. We understand bowhunting because we hunt with a bow ourselves, all of our guides are bowhunters, and we have been providing quality bowhunting trips for over 30 years. All hunts in Colorado and New Mexico are on exclusive leased private ranches.
We keep our hunting groups small and limit the
hunting pressure to ensure availability of quality animals. Many
of our hunters have been with us for years and most of our first timers
come by referral.
Chances are when you think of trophy whitetails, you don't think of Colorado, but you should! The plains and riverbottoms in Eastern Colorado holds some mighty impressive whitetails, and it's been one of Colorado's best kept secrets. We have been hunting and managing our private ranches since 1985 and the quality of bucks taken gets better every year. Over the years our average buck has been near 140 P&Y and with our super genetics, management practices, and limited hunting pressure trophy bucks in the 170 P&Y and up class are a very real possibility.
We are very excited and eager for the 2008 season as we again continue to add to our country, with additional excellent riverbottom and farmground. With this much country to hunt we can be sure of hunting fresh stands and not putting too much pressure on our deer. As always our ranches continue to produce Pope & Young bucks every year, with the shooting percentage near 100%.
We have several hunts to choose from; we take
small groups each week to insure you of the best possible chance
at a good buck. We book up fast on these hunts with many repeat clients.
We have seen some really good bucks roaming the rivers in the past
few years and we need to take advantage of them. All hunts are
5 Full days of hunting, with everything included (except your license)
once you arrive at the ranch.

New Mexico Bugling Elk Hunt
New
Mexico Archery Bull
If you are a trophy elk hunter, you're familiar with New Mexico's reputation for elk hunting. We lease several private ranches in some of New Mexico traditional areas for big bulls. Our area's have limited hunting pressure and consistently produces 6x6 bulls. The archery hunting season is timed to hit the New Mexico rut and elk should be bugling. Our hunters see many different mature bulls, and most have shots at a quality animal. This is another of our most popular and successful hunts. As always we run small camps with experienced bowhunting guides to insure a quality trip. This is easy country to hunt with large parks, rolling hills and short ridges that are ideal for bowhunting. All inclusive once you arrive at the ranch, license cost $550, no drawing needed, landowner permits included. (Add 5 % State Of New Mexico tax.) All hunts are guided 2x1, however 1x1 is available.

do the guiding. I will handle the booking for the ranch. This is a
